I've left it a little late to sort something for this weekend, but next weekend we will do some form of instance, fingers crossed. Check kin mail in-game for info, I'll put something on the forum to address it after.

LOTRO has extended the Festival until August 4th, and they intend to give everyone some sort of gift..chat still disabled but the game is running much smoother

So if you've logged in to the game recently you may have seen that there are some lag issues, freeze issues, and that the chats don't work.
Well, they closed the servers for about 3-4 days to try and sort the lag/freeze issue; in actuality they made it worse, but for the time being SSG have also disabled the chat channels (except /say or /tell)
As a result we will not be running any instances/raids/BBs whilst the chats are closed HOWEVER! As soon as the chats are re-enabled we will be running a Helm's Dike (6 man hopefully) on the next weekend, so stay tuned for that! It'll be a good opportunity to play together as a kin (for the first time) and, assuming there are 3-4 of us, be a good opportunity to get out and meet the world, make our stamp as 'AHR' and, possibly, recruit. Or, at least, preach the gospel. ;)
Festival wise: I believe LotRO have hinted that they will extend the fest days to compensate lost time. I wouldn't heed this too much, but expect another week or two. If I hear any more I'll pass it on via the forum here.
